TIP Friendly Society is an insuring society registered under the Friendly Society Act of 1968. The society was founded by Errol Henry, a former Life Insurance Agent with American Life Insurance Company. It is now operated by a Board comprising of 15 members across the island.

The society is an organization which provides insurance coverage for 20,000 members and dependents.. As at December 2002, the assets of the society exceeded $380M, and the annual income exceeded $100M.

The society is committed to providing sickness and accident insurance benefits to Jamaicans at the lowest possible cost. "TIP" benefits have been available to teachers for the past eighteen years.
